Break Through Basketball was developed to address many requests for basketball training. Modesto Slam-N-Jam promotes that skills should be taught along with game play to allow the opportunity to practice these skills. This is a summer basketball program that consists of a combination of training and games. There are 8 one-hour sessions; 4 training and 4 games. The training sessions will incorporate skills, basketball IQ and strategies, physical fitness, nutrition, and life skills. Experienced league directors will group the players according to grade and skill level. Sessions will alternate between training and games. Directors will take note and evaluate during the games to determine how to proceed in the next training session. Our objective is to develop hard working, resilient, confident, and knowledgeable individuals that want to maximize their potential and make a positive impact in the community.
